Its been an interesting and weird few days lately. Found out I most likely have a half-sister that I did not know about...still deciding on how to go about (or if I) contacting her. A little girl a few towns over from here died from a mysterious illness, a lot of people are in an uproar over it. Understandably so. Waiting to see if something is put in the news about it. If so I'll share that here. Went out to Turn One in Wytheville, to watch a friend's band play. Fast Back. They were pretty good for only 3 practices, but it was for a good cause, they were raising money for a 15 month old who needs an intestinal transplant. The Boy was a sweetie and donated some extra money in addition to paying for the door charge for both of us (door charge was all going the baby's fund). Am trying to get everything together for our group project this week, and realizing that A LOT of big projects are due, just one class is keeping me so busy I can't breathe, I'm honestly typing this on a forced break from memorizing my intro for our project. So my brain feels a little like this:

Time Flies...
I'm sitting here in shock realizing that it is nearly 10 o'clock, and I feel like my day just started...Back to work tomorrow :(
Today was a great day, went to visit my Grandpa w/The Boy, first meeting of those two. It went really well, my grandpa was telling about some of his past jobs, and just how much things have changed since he was young (1940's) Yup he's 87 now. And still going strong.
The Boy and I then went to do a little antiquing. He bought me these two really awesome vintage tin signs. And found an interesting knight's helmet flask (?) for himself. Not really sure what it is, need to post a pic of that one.
We then watched the new Alice movie, yet again. And now I'm doing some research on some writing contests and backlinks.
Well off to bed soon so I'm rested for the screaming kiddies in the A.M.

Birthdays and Bad News...
So first off, must say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little sister. She is the big 19 today. LOL. We have a cookout planned for this evening with family and a few close friends. Fun stuff. And I made us this Pizza Noodle Casserole that our dad used to make for us when we were little kids. It made an awesome lunch, plus lots of leftovers to take for lunch the rest of the week at work. I got her some pants for work for her b-day present from me. Mom and dad got her some shoes, purse, & clothes. But she doesn't know this yet, so shhhh!
Onto the bad news...
Unfortunately, I found out that my ex-sister-in-law has cervical cancer. She has 3 weeks until her surgery, but already her kidneys are threatening to shut down. So I definitely would appreciate any good thoughts and/or prayers sent her way. She is an amazing woman, and a mother to a beautiful little girl.
Hope you all are having a beautiful day today. Other than the worry for "P" I'm having a gorgeous one.
