November = Shock

My system is shocked, I cannot believe it is already November!  Yikes!  I have so much to get done before Christmas, I just don't even know where to begin.

This morning was a fun one, I went out to head to school, and whala! Flat tire.  I was so proud that I changed to my spare by myself, but no sooner than I let the car back down, than I realized, oops, the spare is flat too.  (couldn't tell without the weight of the car on it)  So with some help from a friend, I got my tire patched and made it to my 2nd class, a little late but better than never.

Sorry I haven't posted recently, been super busy with school and work.  I think I did great on my speech today though and that makes me feel awesome.  I also got some great grades on other assignments in other classes.  Received a bit of good news from Red Hill General Store and just enjoyed the warm weather.  I'll share more about the good news at a later date once I figure out how exactly it is going to work :-)  Also the concert is coming up this weekend.  The Boy, Shel, Beck, and a few other people are going to go see Grace Potter and the Nocturnals on Friday down in Asheville.  Good music + good friends = Great Times

Sales, Fire, and Speeches Oh My!

Made my first sale.  Sold a pair of earrings to one of my mother's friend for a birthday gift.

The Boy's work place caught on fire temporarily today.  It was a plant separate from his, but still it causes me to worry about him during the day.  So far as I know no one was hurt though.

Been working on my experience speech for Communications class.  Not a whole lot of fun.  And its a whole lot to remember has to be 5 minutes.  (YIKES) So wish me luck on that.  Our paper on it is due Thurs, and the speech is due the following Tues. 

Well off to work on some more homework.  Just wanted to give ya'll an update. :)
